The Electric Maid is a non-profit space in Washington, DC right near the Takoma metro stop. Dubbed the Community Living Room, the Maid offers a place for community members to gather, take classes, see live music and art, and just simply hang out.

The mural is painted as a backdrop to the stage where many area bands play. The design inspires energy and creativity, the very vibe of the establishment.
